After all the main goal of the juvenile justice system is to help children cope with their problems and to deter them from delinquency behavior. This is why the juvenile justice system should focus on rehabilitation efforts. While with punishment being the key, the will not have the opportunity to learn and understand how to solve issues that may lead to these crimes.
Some juveniles demonstrate certain behaviors that are inappropriate at times just to fit in with certain friends or other people that they may look up to. In some cases the peers that are under the influence of their friends tend to do things that they were taught not to do because they will feel as though they may lose the other as their friend.
